Since its inception in 1971, DBSI has established itself as leader in the modular construction industry. DBSI has successfully completed a broad variety of modular construction projects ranging from public schools and child care facilities to sophisticated research and development buildings requiring high technology environmental standards, as well as medical and detention facilities meeting stringent state and federal construction standards.

At DBSI, we are not only involved with design and construction of sophisticated use modular structures, but we also do complete site development while we are constructing the building, in many cases saving as much as one-half the time of conventional construction. At DBSI we call this Concurrent Construction.

Constructing a building off-site while typical site development activities are underway facilitates the installation of the three dimensional structure when conventional building construction would be just getting started. In Most cases this off-site construction is done in a controlled covered environment free from weather constraints. Modular building finishes can be installed in the same manner as those of conventional buildings, with the finishes product being indistinguishable.
